God, Dumbledore needs a good wake up call! Poor Severus, but at least Harry found him and I hope he gets well. Thought I think harry should go find the Wise One, she can heal Severus better than crazy Albus.

Wonderful "history lesson" that you extrapolated from disparate details from the canon! NICE going! Also glad that Harry could finally tell Snape directly about hearing the Basilisk, and very relieved that Snape was able to heal Harry AGAIN! With the Wise One's help, of course! And what an image-- a feather-ruffed golden snake cruising through the snowy forest, looking for a deer. (Poor deer...)

Good that Harry realised for himself it would be a good thing to confide in Snape, also that he didn't actually have to do it.Have to agree with Harry, the Wise One's fighting abilities are brilliant. Hope she can help with the basilisk.

I think it's fascinating that Harry tells the Wise One about the Voice, instead of confessing to Snape why he'd left the castle. Very natural, even if he didn't realize at first what the Voice belonged to! Poor Harry-- he now has an ally, but past bad experiences won't allow him to trust Snape. But Snape is doing an admirable job in self-restraint, especially in the face of the frustration Harry is causing him. Just give the two of them a little more time...
Great chapter! I hope you feel better soon. Yeah, the snow is really something, isn't it? We didn't get as much as you but still...Anyways, I really enjoyed this chapter and hope that you can find the time to update soon. Poor Severus!
