This story is a great winter read - especially for someone who's just walked a couple of miles in the snow! I think the meeting between the Basilisk and the Wise One will be an interesting one, and though I'd like her to talk sense into him, I shall wait and see to find out what happens ;) I'm thoroughly enjoying this so far

I really liked it!
I think Harry and the Wise One (and possibly Snape) should save the basilisk. I've always hated how magical creatures are just props, to be manipulated by wizards, especially the dark. It would make it much more interesting and unique.
Prettey cool I look forward to dumbledorks reaction! What made you think of ths bloodspawn? I liked the fight.

Love the chapter! Dumbledore needs to be humbled and his pride taken down a mountain or two. I liked Harry's conversations. And I say save the basilisk as long as it is salvageable. If it is truely evil, then no, don't save it. :D Hope you are feeling better! *hugs*

The fight was cool! The conversation between wise one and Harry was also very honest and sincere. I hope Sev makes Dumbledore see his error and the Basilisk is saved. The loyal and grieving creature you have described does not deserve to die!
Everything in the chapter was excellent and yes the basilisk should be saved by Harry and the Wise One...one thing though, I kinda disagreed with but maybe you could set me to rights, 200 seasons is only 50 years and to a normal human/wizard that may seem like a long time but to a creature that has lived centuries that isn't very long at all so wouldn't she consider them like a teenager if not young?...Just wondering
EEEK! this is wonderful! I love the Wise One...and I scared there for a minute. Harry was in pretty bad shape, but Snape was awesome and saved the day :)

Such a great chapter. Yay for the Wise One and for the basilisk too! And for Sev curing Harry. Please please PLEASE update soon and make Harry tell Snape the truth about the abuse.
