I am doing a reread of this story and it just struck me I have not given you nearly enough "this is so wonderful!" reviews. Here goes .... This story is so wonderful!! I love Snape mentors Harry stories. I particularly enjoy seeing how each author shows the resolution of their hostility and the acceptance of each others strengths and weaknesses. Your take is very realistic to me - measured, and entirely plausible.
I am enjoying this story just as much the second time around (of course, being in my SIXTH decade of life my memory gets fuzzy faster!!!). I am also reading Regards, Harry. I can't stand the wait on that one so I am keeping up with it on fanfiction.net instead of here.
Thanks for giving us a glimpse of a Snape and Harry who can come to trust and care for each other!
I'm really enjoying this story. It's well written and the chapters are a satisfying length. I especially like your Snape, the way he deals with everything in a no fuss, matter of fact way, and is the same with Harry. Its no wonder Harry is starting to trust him.
Wow. BTW funny part about Harry thinking of how to phrase the question or statement about the foetal feeling he'd had.
Wonderful chapter. I love all of the water imagery that you use in this as well as the connection between the womb and trust that you used in this chapter. You write beautifully.
