I'm only giving an 8, for now, because it's hard to judge or rate fairly on only a first chapter... :) but I do like what you have, a lot.

Yay! An update already. Can't wait for the next. And Snape is acting somewhat decent, well at least he isn't trying to get rid of Harry straight away... Please update soon. I want to see Harry's reaction to the letter!

This is a wonderful story, thus far. Your narrative is wonderfully descriptive and your dialogue true to character. Even your Briticisms are spot on. Bravo. I eagerly await more. I was awaiting a new and well written Harry and Snape story. Thank you.

Hey! I really like this story! I feel like both of them are pretty in character and that makes me happy. :) You're a good writer as well, it's nice reading what you write. Please, please update, such a good plot bunny can not go to waste! :p
