Did Snape bring Hermione's Hogwarts letter? He seems rather well known to the Grangers. Or perhaps he gained a doctorate in some Muggle subject and the Grangers know him professionally or as academic colleagues?
Anyway, this was very sweet and sad. I'm sniffling.
Awww, yay! I loved this! great chapter! Your Harry is spot on, and it is wonderful to read your Snape! Poor harry never having a birthday cake before. I wonder what trouble he will find at the Granger's. Will he find any? I wonder what the locket is all about and why Snape was looking at Harry so sternly when he was fiddling with it. awwww! wonderfull chapter. i wish Snape Had stayed for the party. and i wonder how snape, as well as Harry is going to act, nw that they aren't living under the same roof anymore.
