Great story. With so many stories where Snape ends up the guardian, it's amazing I've never seen one like this, where the Dursleys realize Snape is the guardian before he does and simply hand Harry over to him. It's very believable in the light of all we know from canon.
These two boys just WON'T play nice with each other.... Well done, I can't wait for more. Is Severus going to throw a fit when Harry comes down dressed the same way? Is he going to go through his stuff? I can't wait to see what you do!

OMG THIS IS SO GOOD I CANT WAIT TO READ MORE! Mostly, I love the premise. I can't wait to see how you get them through this. I love that everyone is so delightfully in-character, even if Petunia and Vernon are a bit more evil than I thought. They could have told him, or something. Not that I don't think they could have done this in JK's books, like I said, perfectly in character. I'm probably rambling, but I love this. Does this mean that you;ve updated your other fic? I have to check. And get back to mine.....OFF TO READ MORE!!!
Author's Response: Thank you :-) I have not yet updated my other fics, but I promise I will! This one is done through Chapter 5, and I know what Chapter 6 will be about as well. I'm working on the next Chapter of Nobody's Fool and then I'll get back to the other ones too. I keep meaning to finish what I started before I start something new, but these darn plot bunnies keep popping up and dragging me away from my existing stories. I'm still very vested in all of my fics and know what will happen in the next chapters of each of them, it's just a time issue (i.e., having the time to write). But I will, I will, I promise. Yay! An update already. Can't wait for the next. And Snape is acting somewhat decent, well at least he isn't trying to get rid of Harry straight away... Please update soon. I want to see Harry's reaction to the letter!
