What a sad chapter-- I can really FEEL Harry's sense of isolation. Poor guy. And you'd think that Hermione, at the very least, would have a more intuitive sense of what he's going through and how it makes him feel... Harry desperately NEEDS people, but none of them seems able to be there for him "fully", so he ends up pushing them away. Been there myself-- KNOW how bad it feels to be cut off from everyone, and that the only thing that makes it bearable is the fact that I'M the one keeping others at a distance. You've captured the emotion of Harry's situation beautifully. *wipes tear*

I like your narration and your Remus.
Sorry Firefly, I was in the hospital, otherwise you know that I would have been the first to review.
Poor Harry. His friends are ignoring him, the pain and grief over losing Sirius is starting to close in on him. He needs a break the poor kid.
