Liked the chapter but not sure about the house canon Spinners End is a part of Severus and who he is
Oooh this is getting good!
I'm looking forward to seeing what happens during this holiday. Snape is definitely trying to get on with Harry, even if he really doesn't have a clue, and Harry being as prickly as a hedgehog isn't helping him. There's sure to be some trouble ahead.
I can't understand why Remus is so lacking in emotion toward the way the Dursleys treat Harry. He almost has this, "Oh well, that's just the way things are" attitude about it all. I would think he'd be angry and do anything but leave Harry alone to deal with them.

Glad to see an update. I can't wait to see what happens next. One thing though, you meant to say "shuddered" but instead typed "shuttered".
I absolutely adore this fic. I cannot wait for more, and thus, I hope the story isn't drastically changed from the original at FFN, for it is so good that I will be continuing from ch 20 there until you update here. =)
