The time spell is very cool. I really like that Severus is an Unspeakable.

I find the neighbor's suggestion that the police would more likely suspect a 10 year old boy of triple homicide (no matter how delinquent or unstable he is supposed to be according to hearsay he's gotten second hand) than either of the adults, or even a robber or something. that was just bizzare. anyhoo nice story so far.
Did they sack you?
Real nice Tobias. *head desk*
I know I should feel sorry for the Dursleys, but I don't. Though, I love Severus imparting his magic on Harry to save the boy. Very nice chapter.

Omg! Poor harry. Thank God that he was strong enough to resist the DE's!
Go Sev!!
Go Snapegirl!
WOW! What a chapter! I can't say I'm sad to see the Dursley' dead, but I do feel a little bad for dudley.
Harry must be really 'strong' to have been able to keep himself hidden from the DE's!
Poor Harry. I hope Sev can save him, without Harry have any permanant ill effects from his nearly drained magic

The first two chapters are a terrific beginning to the story! I love the idea of Severus as an Unspeakable! And that he's a Seer! And that his magic is so specialized! And I think it's awesome that Harry himself has powerful magic, so powerful that he could fool Death Eaters! Wow! And now Severus has to save him... Fantastic work so far! :-)
Oh wow! Intense. Runs to next chapter.

Wow, what a wonderfully twisty chapter; I thought that Harry might be in danger, given the returned letter, but this chapter came as a surprise, nevertheless. At first I thought the murder-suicide was a bit OOC for VD but then it turned out to be Death-eaters, which seemed much more likely and the Dursleys did remain in character after all. I do wonder, though, why the protection failed on Privet Drive; was it because the Dursleys had broken their side of the bargain by staving him so severely? Very interesting details about the nature of magic and I really like your descriptions, which are very vivid.
