Thank you so much for writing this! It was a very touching story, made me cry lol. I've never thought of Severus being anything but a predatory animal, so an elegant and beautiful swan was a great twist! Well done!

While I hate Fanfiction stories were 'Severus' dies in accordince with the book, I must say I like this story for 'Severus'' form. A Black Swan Severus Snape a beautiful picture.
You almost made me cry! (Again! Okay, you actually did. It seems you are able to do that everytime you have Sev dead and Harry learning more about him.) Although I saw it coming, I was so happy that Sev was the swan... and he tried to fight to keep Harry safe.
Which is why I want to ask, do you think you will ever write a story where Harry dies and we get to see some interaction between the great black swan and 'his ugly duckling?' Because I would love to see (read) Sirus' reaction! Also I'd love to see how Harry reacts to the man knowing what he knows now and that Sev tried so many times to save him.
If not, I'll live and dream what my own ending. (Like Harry punching Sirus in the nose when he calls him Snivillus!) Great job, love the story!!

I don't cry. I really don't. I'm having an allergy problem that's why my nose is sniffly, my throat is clogged up and my eyes are all wet. Really.
Lovely story. Sad and sweet and although I like chara death of Snape in the fewest case you did a good job. Your Melfis.
Oh, oh, oh, this is sooo cute!!! You wrote this wonderfully!!! I could see that lovely (snapish ^____^) swan in my mind's eye and can relate all to well to Harry and his love to this particular swan. ^___^ (Maybe because in a lake near where I live there is a swan pair quite similar to shadow.) Yours happily, Melfis.
Author's Response: Thanks ^^ Yes, if you know swans there is something Snapeish about them- they're very independant, feisty and haughty lol! Of course, to Harry, who has battled his relative's dislike, making friends with Snape the Swan doesn't tire his patience or wear away his determination as it would other children.
