No Neville!!! /all my cryes/
I really enjoyed the unique premise of this intro chapter. You have a great concept for a challange that's been done quite a few times. I'm really looking forward to where this is going and quite excited to read more (which is saying a lot since it's been a long while since I read a Severitus fic that stood above the others).
Hoping for the best and heading towards chapter two!

I can't believe you killed off Neville! The uncle that beat Neville isn't Great Uncle Algie is it?
Omg, that was so sad.
Interesting twist though. I'm intrigued. I hope that Snape can protect Harry from coming to the same fate as Neville.
Excellent start - can't wait to see what happens when Severus sets up Harry's examination. Great stuff.

Poor Neville ! I hope to see more of this story soon thank you....
Ohh, this is awesome! Wonderful, wonderful job! Great start with the background and having it all work out. I would never of thought of Neville, but the way you have it set up is masterful! Thanks so much for starting this! I look forward to seeing what happens next!
Author's Response: When I saw the challenge, a conversation I had with a friend of mine some years back sprang to mind. More details about what I think is wrong with various people's families will come to light.
Wow! Awesome start, Paganaidd. I truly can't wait to the next update.
Damn! Why did it have to be Neville? He was the last Longbottom.
Author's Response: Sadly, the Pureblood families are dying out for one reason or another.
I am so excited about this! You're off to a great start. I had tears in my eyes about Neville. Keep up the good work!
