Will Harry dare to ask about Lily?
Great chapter! I'm so enjoying the developing relationship between Harry and Severus. I felt so sorry for Harry when he learned how much money the Dursleys had been paid for his care, and to have to face how much they truly despised him. I thought Severus reacted very well when Harry couldn't help but vent a little.
Looking forward to the next chapter!

Wow! I just found this story last night and have completely skipped everything I could (sans work) in order to read up to chapter 18. This story is amazing, the characters are both realistic and relatable, and the plot is interesting. The different ways the different characters are reacting to the trauma(s) they've experienced is very interesting. It makes me, as a reader, place myself in these situations and see how I would respond.
Wonderful job of making Snape human but not gushy or ridiculous. Also- wonderful job making Harry traumatized but believably a teenager. I will keep reading!
Love it! Oh this is just a fantastic story! Great progression of the story line, the background information, the new thoughts and feelings. This story feels very organic, very natural like it fits. Good job being true to the Harry Potter world, well as much as we can be in fanfiction. :) I did notice some little typos though. You may want to go back later when the story is done and fix them. Some punctuation as well with dialogue (mostly the use of commas). Thank you for the update, and please update again when you can!

It will be interesting to see, if the fic follows through to the end, when Harry sees his parents in the afterlife and James knowing Lily whored around with Snape and lied to him about Harry being his son.
I'm enjoying this story so much. But I wonder how well Harry will take the news when it eventually comes out that Snape is his father. Snape for the moment seems to be treating his relationship as if he was just a donor. I like a slow build in a story, so I appreciate that a lot.

Great chapter you handled the very upsetting issues with sensitivity whilst keeping both Harry & Severus with in the paramaters of their charcters thank you

I am digging this story. My gosh, those Dursley's are completely vile aren't they? What would that do to someone to be so mistreated and despised, to then find out they are kept around not out of charity or a sense of duty but solely for the money? Poor, poor kid!
