Agh! Wrote a long review but the security code was wrong, how frustrating. Ok, so I LOVE this story! The characterisation is brilliant, especially in Snape, he's still snarky and snappy and a bit harsh (in character yay!) but at the same time slightly more caring towards Harry. I wish Harry gained a bit more confidence like in canon, but I see where you pulled the submissive nature from (his abuse) and it helps give him a different dynamic and therefore for Snape to be more caring towards him, but still, I'd love him to gain some confidence and perhaps argue with Snape? But I emphasize, this is my attempt at constructive criticism (rather than just listing 101 reasons why this story is awesome - which I could easily find!) and it is your decision whether to use it or not. I love the twist with Snuffles/Sirius.. I'm not sure if the reader is meant to make this connection or not, but if not it's pretty obvious, unless I have it completely wrong.
I'm begging you to finish this, please please continue! I can't bear another amazing-but-incomplete-story :'( And I'm a bit suspicious of this Mrs Cook person! :o Anyway, PLEASE keep writing! And now I'm going to try damn hard to get the right security code. -.-

Neville's death has hit everyone really hard and Harry is still in a bit of shock over the events of the last few weeks. He hasn't lost his spine, he's just going with things right this minute, 'cause that seems safest.
