Haha, it is rather hilarious, Severus talking to a non-existent house-elf.

Great chapter! Oh man, an emt in Vermont! No wonder you've had no time to write! Glad to hear your home town is alright. We feel so bad for all the wonderful Vermont towns affected by the storm. Being from long island, we used to go up every winter for skiing. Best of luck!
Don’t you just hate misunderstandings? Though they certainly make for an interesting read :). Poor Harry thinks Snape is criticizing him.
Harry got some unexpected information from his neighbor. Mrs. Cook seems like a well-meaning woman. I liked that brief conversation she and Severus had about Harry/Lily’s eyes, and how surprised Harry was to see the man smile :)
P.S. I’m sure you WERE busy after Irene. I mostly had to deal with flooding where I live in Vermont, thankfully.

This is so cool!!!!! I bet Snape is going to have a fit when he 'll find out there was no house-elf! Ahah
Wow...brilliant as usual. Thank you for the update - and for Mrs. Cook. This story is a TOTAL joy to read.
And my condolences for Irene's damage to Vermont. It's simply unbelievable and I appreciate your being able to spend ANY time on this story at all. I hope your state heals soon. I've never gotten to visit Vermont. I just know it's beautiful and I'd love to see it someday.
Wow! I know he is still effected by that spell, but Sev is really diging himself a DEEP hole here. At what point is he going to realize how stupid and hurtful he is being?
I really like Mrs. Cook! She's cool!
Great chapter! I imagine Snape will have to figure out pretty soon that it's Harry doing all the cleaning and cooking. I mean, it's a pretty small house and Snape isn't entirely clueless.
brilliant still loving it! I cant wait for the next chapter..... no pressure of course.
