Thank you for your wonderful and quick updates. This is so compelling. I love your use of metaphor with the potions patterns and the intriguing title - "Digging For Bones". The pattern Severus is uncovering rings true to what I would imagine a neglected/abused child's history would look like. Very well done. I am looking forward to more... especially can't wait to see how this will affect Snape's interactions with Harry.

Great progression of events. Not too slow, but Snape doesn't learn everything at once. I like him working out some of it himself.
Another great chapter. Snape is on to something. I can't help but wonder what his reaction will be when he realizes harry isn't the spoiled little brat Snape thinks he is.
Oh, I hope you post the next chapter soon! (You don't have anything better to do, right?) I am biting my nails about how it is all going to unfold. (Crosses fingers that Snape and Harry interact much more in next chapter.)
