Write quicker! Please. This is the first HP fic in a long time that I've adored so much from the first chapter. Very well written, very good portrayal of the characters we all know and love so much. I love the originality of your plot! Very daring to kill of a character in the first chapter and yet it seems to work brilliantly. Please please write more and fast.

    Author's Response:

Oh my!  I'll do my best.  Perhaps you could come over and clean my house so I can get some writing done? lol

Hopefully, updates will be on at least a weekly basis.

Poor Neville.  I never trusted that uncle of his...

Thank you for the kind words.

I had a feeling those three would mention Harry possibly being abused. I'm glad Snape sort of believed them.

Can't wait for the next update.

Author's Response: I think that a week before, Snape would not have given much credence to this story, but Neville's death has really shaken him up.

Wonderful chapter! And sadly, the students' behavior was very realistic. Gossiping about who's a victim and who's not is definitely something psychologically/emotionally immature children do. I also appreciated the bit about the Ravenclaw being offended by the idea that Pureblood parents could ever abuse a child. Typical Pureblood supremacy ideology -- that child needs to learn that abuse isn't specific to any particular heritage, ethnicity, race, etc.

You've done a magnificent job of handling this.

    Author's Response:

My high school had several student deaths when I was there.  It's been a very long time, but I can still remember the reactions of the students and teachers.  I never felt that JKR really caught that effect.  It's hard to describe unless you've been there.

It's a common misconception that domestic violence and child abuse doesn't happen in "good" families.

Thank you for the kind words.

Omg! Poor Harry. He will freak when he finds out that he is not going to avoid this exam--not by a long shot. Thank Goodness though.

I hope Snape gets to the bottom of it, and soon.

Good story. Looking forward to the next chappie.

Author's Response: Yes, Harry is not going to be able to get out of this.

    Omg, that was so sad.

Interesting twist though. I'm intrigued. I hope that Snape can protect Harry from coming to the same fate as Neville.
