Excellent blending of Snape's point of view with what we already know from canon. I like this Snape-- already I feel empathy for him, but I'm concerned about what will happen when Harry learns the truth regarding his parentage. Or WILL he? With people like Malfoy still out there, will Snape even DARE reveal to Harry that he's his real father? Only time will tell! Nice opening chapter, Lady!

I love this story Lan. Lily as the bit...er...bad person towards Severus was James was sympathetic was lovely and a nice twist. Subtly add Aurora here and there was an excellent touch. And Snape's pride of Harry throughout the chapter was excellent!
I love how Snape gets offended at being called meddlesome!! =))

Oh poor Snape. I hope that Dumbledore will let him get custody of Harry, and that Harry won't be too resentful over the fact that Snape didn't claim him earlier.
