Wow! The memory scene was so clever! It was a believable, Slytherin move for Severus, and yet I never would have foreseen those seemingly innocent interactions during that Potions class as coming into play at a later time.
I also like how your story includes the main events of book six, but with alterations due to how you characters are developing. It brings into question both fate and the power to change the future.
Author's Response: Thanks, I'm glad you think so. And yes, I tried to keep it in-character, glad to hear I did. Yeah, I was tempted to say something but thought the surprise would be better and the situation less analyzed when I posted it, so it can be read with fresh eyes when I use it again. I'm happy to hear your comments and praise, so thank you for your review, and you're right about the developments, that's what I was aiming for and wasn't sure if it was clear enough.
