Reviews For The Son Becomes the Father
Toby is beginning to grow on me. Lol. Wonderfully done chapter, this one. It's getting more and more interesting. Snape's actually doubting himself? About Harry? Whew. ROFL... I appreciate the originality on the expellicorpus spell! I personally think that Snape is beginning to suspect Harry, and the "thing" that changed him. I think he's gonna start looking for stuff and eventually harry's gonna do something out of the ordinary for him. *crossin fingers and squeezing eyes shut* Hoping that something major happens when that moment arrives! Wonderful. I got the message on Dobby--thanks. Different version of dobby, then. :) hope that Dobby might have some sort of confrontation from one of the professor about his continuous disappearance--that is, if someone notices. Thanks for the update! :) Author's Response: You're right about the protective streak, and mildly the subconscious reasonign with Snape is there too, although he is yet to be aware of it. Glad to hear it! Thanks, although I must say next chapter will be even more so. lol, yeah the doubt is beginning. Thanks, I quite like the spell too. Which "thing" might you be refering to? Snape is going to start paying more attention though, the out-of-the-ordinary sort of incident you're hoping for will occur, in a few different ways. But Snape won't be prepared for any of them, neither will several others, actually. Major things will begin to unravel soon, as well as a few secrets beign revealed and questions to be raised by these characters. This Dobby isn't entirely different, more as though he's less of a rebel now and more of how he would be as a house-elf, since Harry's nothing like the Malfoys he has no trouble with doing exactly as he is told. He's honored to do so, perhaps a little too eagerly though. As for his "disappearances", no...no one pays much attention to a single Hogwarts elf, and the only one who really sees him is Dumbledore, who is more aware that Harry realizes. You're welcome, will be adding another chapter soon. Thanks for your review!!
Author's Response: Thanks. Which book are you refering to? I am not familiar with James Harriot, either, so no. "Good" is probably not the phrase Snape would use, but yeah he is. As for Harry's own paternity, not for a while. The possibility hasn't even crossed his mind and with eerything he has been told he as zero reason to believe that James isn't his father. That will change later, however I am not 100% exactly when yet. Toby so far doesn't know what he thinks of the actual brewing process, although it is likely he will enjoy it. Even with Hermione's help, Harry isn't ready to let Toby take that step in his education just yet. That and he's a little too protective of the younger boy right now and any risk with the child is one he'd rather not take. Thanks for your review!
I love your story. I like stories where Harry takes care of little kids, so this one is perfect! And Toby is a cute kid! Please update soon! Bye, Marleen
Great Story!
Toby and 'Katty' must be cute =D
This story is really well written and unique. I hope you update very soon!
I loved that Snape was impressed with Harry's non-verbal spells. Good chappie; looking forward to the next one. Author's Response: Thanks. And yeah, but even more in the next one ;). And about the Patronus, you're right. Alsoa lion because he's in Gryffindor, but the cub part was the main reason I chose that animal for him. There are a few underlining reasons as well. Glad to hear it, thanks for your review.
