Reviews For The Son Becomes the Father
Author's Response: An interesting idea, but it is likely to frighten the young boy. And Harry would be reminded of the object used as a prison for moody in 4th year.
Second: Nice chapter! I'm curious what Severus think... And I Think that Harry can use Dobby for bringing food from kitchen and for looking after Toby during the day... Author's Response: Thank-you! :D And really? Nice. There will be a little more insight to Severus' thinking and point of view as the story goes along but for no I am focusing more on Harry. As for Dobby, I have it under consideration and the elf will indeed be making an appearance sooner rather than later. Thanks for the review.
I'm very much enjoying this piece. I'm currently speculating that what Snape doesn't believe has something to do with the "Father" classification for this story. ;-) As for Snape/Severus matching PoV, I generally do it that way too. The tricky part is when a PoV character's internal name for someone changes. Author's Response: Thanks :). Glad to hearit. Haha, it has some relation to it ;). And yeah, however I highly doubt Harry is going to change the "Snape" to "Severus" anytime soon, if ever. Although the "Potter" to the "Harry" might be more likely, hm. Thanks for the review.
I love that Luna knows! She really is something special. Plus Nearly Headless Nick knows? Wonder if you're going to let the ghosts in the secret too! I think I'll became addict to this story! Author's Response: I can't say much about the Tonks and Severus issue as it is of key importance later, however it's not quite as specific to your theory. Severus suspects nothing at that point and the denial was more towards even the possibility of something. You'll find out more as the story goes along. Yeah, me too. Luna is special for who she is but also her role to play in my story later so I had to add her :). As for Nick, you'll find out soon. Although I have little intention to let too many ghostly beings know about the secret, it would hardl be classfied as such otherwise. I'm pleased to hear that! Thanks for your review, will update sometime over the next few days as per usual.
As awesome as always, though I'm getting a bit impatient for something--anything--to happen. I can't wait for Snape to get suspicious, though I think he already is. Is he? Hmm. I guess Toby can't live under the Cloak for long--i mean, he's six! The stumble was some kind of a proof? What about making Toby follow Harry to Defense one day, incorrectly assuming that he's going for Potions, and then got hurt? Eventually leading to Snape's discovery? And I guess you will not be telling me what Tonks and Snape were glaring about, will you? Hmm. I have a pretty vague idea, but still... If I ask nicely? Please? Please update soon. I really hope for the next chappie! Author's Response: Thanks!! :) And I understand what you mean, although this plot and situation build-up is needed, I assure you that the further along things yet to more complicated it may become. There is plenty of action and dramatic changes in the upcoming moments for the boys. It will eve reach a moment where something very big happens so rest assured that you won't have to wait too long for things to heat up more. And yes, Severus is suspicious but without an actual object of his suspicion, such as he knows something is going on or has happened but isn't quite sure what (or rather, who), is responsible. Yes, and the six-year-old is very quickly becoming further annoyed with "living" under that cloak. Your idea was certainly interesting and I may do something along those lines, however that is not how I intend to have severus find out. Nope, I can't tell you what Severus and Tonks were glaring about; it's one of the few things I am keeping very secretive about as it plays a very key role in the story. Although, it did not originate between those two and it's so much more than simple glaring; more will be revealed as the story goes along. Sorry, although asking nicely is always apreciated, I can't tell you much more than I already have :P Thanks for your wonderful review!! I shall be updating over the next few days, as per usual.
Harry is finding out that it is much easier to have a plan than to carry out a plan.
