Reviews For The Son Becomes the Father
I think Harry needs more proof than looks alone to assume that Tiny is Snape's son, but perhaps Hermione will help with that. It'll be rough to raise a child, especially one just ten years younger than yourself. Especially when you've never had a lot of good examples at what even decent parenting looks like. I like that Snape just couldn't bear to not write back, because he was so curious. :D Good start! Author's Response: I'm pleased to hear that, thanks. Yes, Harry will need more proof than that but he's yet to realize it as he sees a kid that looks like Snape and has some similarities to him. He's just jumping t conclusions (which happen to be right!), because he doesn't know anything about this orphaned boy's history etc. Yes, it'll be very difficult. Toby is obedient and shy now, but no child (especially one this much younger than Harry), would be able to do what they're told all the time. Harry thinks it's okay now but wait until Toby becomes more used to his surroundings and is less afraid of Harry getting rid of him if he's "bad". Haha, thanks. I absolutely ADORE Snape's reply. WWonderfully snarky, very Snapeish. I like :) I can hardly wait for the face-to-face confrontation between Snape and Harry. I think Harry is going to give away something. he's not really that good an actor. :) Can't wait for school to start! Update soon! Author's Response: Thanks for you review! :) Yeah, I'm growing rather fond of Toby myself. Ad for the confusion, Harry was worried that if the Order of the Phoeix had been watching him (for his safety), than they ight know about the little boy he had with him and since Snape was a member of the Order than he might already know more than Harry wanted him to. If Snape knows about the boy than he wouldn't have much trouble putting together e similarities in the letter and what is going on. This is only IF the whole Order has in facteen informed etc. Hope that clears it up. Haha, thanks, I have to edit Snape's reply about 3 times to make sure it's proper english and incharacter so I'm glad my work has paid off! :). And you're assuming that Harry won't be able to get out of that confrontation, remember that this is the worst possible scenario in which could happen to him. Unless you arefering to when he sees Snape again, because in that case you're right...not even Harry is that good of an actor. Glad you thinks so and thanks for the review! Author's Response: I do not believe that the mistakes are quite so terrible unless one deliberately searches for them. I was behind in my updating schedule and therefore had only been able to read over it briefy a few times. I may need a beta and yet I cannot find anyone who is active enough that I do not have to wait for them in order to update whenever I need to, unless I send them later chapters in advance, perhaps. I doubt I will be using a beta for this fic though, as think it's alright without one for now. |
