Maybe I just missed something, but Harry kinda lost me when he started talking about being Kenai's brother in class. I didn't really understand why he did that. Seemed kind of pointless and stupid, on his part.
Hermione I think you write well, and it's interesting to see this nice Draco. I liked that Harry went to the the hospital wing instead of Potions, and that Madame Pomfrey seemed to understand.
Poor kid.

Author's Response: It was pretty pointless on his part to try to protect him at all, but he did it regardless (he's sort of foolhardy sometimes), and once he was into it, he felt he might as well inform this new teacher that they were related (after all, everyone else knows). It's a touchy subject for Harry, as we'll come to find, to not be acknowledged by people as part of the Snape family.
