This was an absolutely gorgeous outing - the conventions, the amazing surrounds, and the realization Severus has. It was all simply beautiful.
This is a brilliant story. The imagery you conjured with Walnut and his smoke belcher was amazingly rich and compelling. I’ll have to re-watch the African Queen.
