Oh, I'm so glad for some fresh action! Not that the 'feelings' stuff wasn't good, but I do love action too.

Poor little girl, I'm eager to see how Severus deals with this... exciting...

Author's Response: Thanks for the review misundersnape, and I totally get what you mean by fresh action. I love action so much!

Hi Whitetail! I don't think I've reviewed this story before, but I've been following it for a while. I like your writing style and plot development. I love to see the changes in perception Harry has the more time he spends observing Snape. I remember being that age when you couldn't imagine that your teachers were actual people with foibles and quirks of their own.
I'm interested in how the rescue will pan out. I wish you storm-free weather in the future, and look forward to the next chapter!
    :D

Author's Response: Thanks for the long review. I thought it would be fun to throw in a little confusion for Harry in regards to Snape actually having a life. Sometimes it can be very funny to find out just what your teachers do outside of school. I'm glad you liked  that little part, especially because I was hoping to hear some mention of it from someone! Thanks for the wish of storm free weather, as we could really use it. Though it's pretty muggy today and I think we'll get it again. Luckily however, we usually don't get tornados or large hail. Usually.  Anyways, cheers!

Thank-you for writing this story and for sticking with it. I discovered your story when only 5 chapters had been up at the time, and it has always been a pleasure to come back to each time an update has occurred.
Whether the chapter was action oriented or more geared toward character exploration, or moving the plot forward, i have found it to always been wonderfully written. Thank-you for your time and sharing your writing skills.

Author's Response: Wow, thank you enderjones! Nothing peaves me more than when people abandon stories, so I'm pretty adamant about finishing any of mine. There might be delays but I most certainly will keep at it!  It's also really good to hear that you've enjoyed the story and thought it to be well written, as for an author that is about as awesome as being handed a bowl of your favorite candy. ;)

Thank you for this awesome story, Whitetail. A great action and great relationship between Harry and Severus forming. I am looking forward to seeing next chapter!

Author's Response: You're welcome Victoire. And thank you, as I really wouldn't be posting any writing on this site if it weren't for the readers! ;) Glad you like it!

Aw, Snape is actually becoming human. He's starting to get a soft side towards kids.

Very cute chapter, but with a serious touch too. I'm hoping that their mission is successful.

    Good job as usual.

Author's Response: Thanks Pandora! I was a little worried about this one, so glad you liked it! Then again, I worry too much. ;)

I was starting to miss this story. I'm so sorry about the writers block. I hope that Harry and Severus can come to some sort of understanding.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review Emma!

Oh, I'm sorry that the story is nearing the end, I was beginning to quite enjoy it. Maybe a sequel?

Aw, poor Harry. It would be nice if after they return to Hogwarts Snape takes Harry under his wing, so that the poor boy finally has someone.

I'm anxious to see what happens next. Good chappie. I'm afraid to find out what the second storm brings.

Author's Response: Ironically just after I posted this chapter, an actual storm started out my front door. Wooh hoo for lightning and thunder!  Yeah, Canada has been taking a beating lately ... As for a sequel, I don't think so. But you never know, I could be hit on the head with another idea. That's my problem you see, is that I don't plan things. They just ... happen. Thank you for the review!

They seem to be bonding quite well, slowly, but that's usually the best way, like with a baby, gradually getting to know an individual well and growing with them.
I hope Harry gets another chance to say what he wants to Snape, it seems the older of the two needs to hear something positive too.
Snape brewing without distraction would be an incredible thing to see... *wishes*
Great job - looking forward to the next.
    misundersnape...

Author's Response: Thanks for the review! Yes, bonding slowly is best, though sometimes it is hard to do when you're caught up in writing all the fun and action! ;) I am in agreement with you in that I very much wish that I could see Snape brew in peace. Yes, it would be quite an awesome sight.
