LOL, loved your authors note as well as the chapter itself!
I'm enjoying this story so far, so please don't take the following recommendation negatively: watch out for malapropisms in Severus' notes to Harry, as they make him look foolish for correcting Harry when he's making similar mistakes in diction, spelling, etc.

Now 'that' had me chuckling hysterically. I haven't reviewed yet, well, I guess because I was feeling a little bit lazy, but now I just had to at reading your a/note.
This is a fun, enjoyable story!
I'm disappointed at Severus, expecting too much from an 8 year old. (And I know technically they are your errors) But his spelling isn't perfect either! (You might want to check over his letters lol ;) )
Anyway - good job so far.

I think your Harry is dyslexic but there is hope he si using phonetics for his spelling! Lovely story thank you

Interesting beginning to your story. I love Harry's and Snape's correspondence. It is sweet and a different way for them to develop an inevitable relationship (at least I hope it's inevitable). Your chapter end notes had me laughing out loud...the sad part is that now with auto-correct feature on its just as easy to make similar mistakes even when we do know better. I am looking forward to their next correspondence (also thanks for keeping Snape in character though Dumbledore's manipulation is already starting to annoy me.)

I loved the letters! Snape Obviously has no clue how to write to a young child-he's lucky harry had the where-with-all to use a dictionary to figrue those letters out.
