Nice piece. Snape missing his chair and sitting down on the floor with Harry attempting to comfort him afterwards was original. I could hear little Harry's voice coming straight off the page. :) Good work!

What a cute story. The ending was the best, you gotta love epic fluffyness! Keep writing such wonderfully cute hp/ss fics! :)
Wow - excellent job! Just wonderful.
I have to confess, I want to see the conversation between Severus and Dumbledore now... just to see Severus try and explain how he'd come into posession of such intimate knowledge regarding Potter. lol That was bad judgement indeed, destroying a young orphan's ideal of his dead father... but on the other hand Harry did rather have a blatently more perfect picture of James (and Lily while I'm at it) than was stictly true. And in some ways that would have lead to an arrogance that would ultimately not have served him well.
Either way, this scenario seems to have come to a satisfactory end and smoothed the way for a much more productive relationship between the pair. Don't know if they'll be able to defeat old Mouldy now... but hey, perhaps the deformed old coote can go split his soul into oblivion instead... ;)

I love the story. The characters behave as they should - and Harry apologizing to Snape for looking like James takes the cake.

AWWW! Please continue! I need to know what happens next!! Please make this story at least 5 chapters and a Snape-Adopts-Harry but then finds out he is actually Harry's biologically father! You could have Snape slowly realizing Harry has some habits of his and some of Lily, then slowly build up to everyone finding out their biological relationship. Also since you said "he should have been more surprised when he no longer found himself looking at James Potter...did not anymore." Have that be the start of him noticing Harry kind of looks like some one else with his pale, moon white skin and his jet black hair-not realizing those are what Harry received from him. Oooh you could make this a series! This one be of SS then CoS and so on. Oooh it could be an excellent story-especially if you have Harry shocking everyone (and himself) by unconsciously becoming more Snape-like (little boys always take on habits from men they admire and watch-normally the Dad, but since his "Dad" is dead, and rightn ow he is starting to feel a bond towards Snape, he would be watching Snape.) It would be great!
Author's Response: Wow that... was quite the detailed plot there. Unfortunately, I've already got an HP multichapter in the works, and if I start anything else at the moment, absolutely nothing will get done. Also, I'm not normally very fond of Snape as Harry's biological father. I'll take it into consideration, though; you never know. Glad you liked the story! Thanks for putting so much thought behind it!
