I am really liking this so far. I can't wait to see how Snape and Harry get along...or should I say, don't get along.
I hope the next update is soon.

AWWWWW!! I absolutely loved that part where Harry moved to the floor and he asked an innocent question...that was just soooo cuuute and awesome!! Ooh I hope Harry is going to have empathic abilities-that Snape has to logically figure out. Oh and due to his empathic abilities and his emotions you could have a bunch of accidental magic that both Snape and Dumbledore have to help each other handle-Harry is after all more powerful since he IS the Dark Lord's Equal. LOL-and you could have Harry later on be revealed as Snape's son since Snape could have been forced to learn Occlumency due to his own empathic abilties' -which you could say he barely pays attention too since he has become used to being an Occlumens. You could also have them find out through research of "How" Harry could be an empath, that they find out JAmes-although Pureblood had no links to Empaths, and Lily being a muggle-born although a powerful witch didn't have the ability-or something of the like. THEN you can also reveal another ability of Harry's that Harry himself never thought of revealing-he actually can talk/see/hear/communicate telepathically to spirits. LOL-you could even have him speaking to "invisible" people or "Shadow-people" in a room, and Severus looks in (not knowing he gave Harry this ability too and once again due to occlumency he is actually unaware he has the ability to although not as powerful as Harry) and sees Harry talking to himself! Then it is only AFTER he (struggles very hard) to take down his shields that he sees what is going on. Ooh it would be great!! Especially after Harry tells Snape he thinks he might be going insane, or for fun-you could have him ask why he doesn't bother talking to Eileen-not knowing he is getting along well with Snape's long dead mother. Which later you can have Snape realize after a looong interrogation that Harry somehow does know his mother very well, which spooks Snape to the core and forces him to go to the Headmaster. (Yet due to Harry's knowledge of knowing his parents are dead, you can say he is emotionally detached from them and so does not "Call them" to him, unlike all the spirits that you can have him be in contact with. You can even say he is a spirit magnet because he is very unique in that he is a Pure Soul-and like Dementors, spirits are just naturally attracted to him. Which could cause lots of havoc if you think about it-spirit bottles shaking, chairs tipping over-all with no explanation...spooky...) LOL.
Author's Response: Aside from the opening statement Im not sure how much any of this has to do with Blindside XD I think maybe you're reviewing the wrong story? These are all interesting ideas but none of them are even remotely related to whats going on in my story, so I'm not really sure what to say to all of this.

Why didn't they just take the portkey right from Mrs. Figg's house?

Love Roan House. Is it linked in any way to Rowan a tree that many highlanders planted outside their houses to keep evil spirits away?
Author's Response: Haha - beautiful and obscure connection Fmh, but not particularily no. There will be mention of Rowans later on, but not in any supremely high significance to the house itself. Roan House gained its name because it gives the impression of a rangy old horse, and is built of mottled grey-blue stone XD
