I like that Severus set an essay for his students in order to get to know them and see what needs have to be met for them. I can't wait to read what happens in the remedial tutoring sessions. Since Harry is a Slytherin, Theodore Nott's essay should read that there are 5 other boys in his dorm. It appears that some of the children do not know how to write an essay.
Author's Response: Yes, I imagine that quite a few of Snape's new Slytherins haven't had an ideal educational background. I'm not sure about the dorms, actually - the idea was that Draco, Theo, Vince Greg and Harry share a dorm, while Blaise and some other Slyth first-year boys share another. I always imagined there to be several dorms for each year, but maybe I'm mistaken. Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts!
