Reviews For A First Time for Everything
Author's Response: I haven't posted this story on ff.net yet--sorry. Pleas keep reading. It's going to get even better.
Author's Response: I know this is gonna sound silly, but in the first three movies Rupert (who plays Ron) whenever he'd say Harry's name it would sound like 'Arry to me...so when I' writing that who I picture as Ron and so therefore that's how I write him. I apologize if it bothers you, but...well, does it make too much difference? Does it ruin the story? I don't think so, anyway. Does that explain things better?
Author's Response: No, Lily will be fine. I just couldn't have them hash everything out in one chapter...for the most part this story will focus on Harry and Severus. Lily, since she has to stay in the hospital awhile, will get to act as a 'sounding board' as it were for the two of them. She can offer advice to Severus about how to handle Harry's more rambuncious side and tell Harry more about the side of Severus *she* knows. Does that make since? And yes, Severus and Lily will be talking soon about the whole 'why didn't you tell me' thing. Just keep reading. I think you'll be pleased.
No Kiss from a handsom Prince (or a hooked nosed one either) to wake this sleeping beauty--no, just a single tear from her little boy! Loved it! V.
So was the explanation about Severus' past and his parents. I had a feeling that Tobias was the cause of Eileen's death. Poor Severus, stuck with the corrupt Malfoys! I am glad that Lily forgave him and got help, although if Dumbledore was there, he could have stopped Sev's fall with that spell he used on Harry at the Quidditch match. Why didn't he just throw a Body Bind on Severus? I'm glad the cousins know the truth now. I noticed one mistake. Severus is speaking about Tobias and says, You also began to drink—and when he was drunk he could be very mean and hurtful. It should be "he" also began to drink. Will Lily wake up next chapter?
