Reviews For Prince of My Heart
Author's Response: Thank you so much for your lovely review! I have exams this week and the next but I promise I'll try to update as soon as I'm free! And no, Sev is not Harry's biological dad. I think it's in the first paragraph or something but it says that Severus is Harry's godfather. And what picture are you talking about? As for your other questions, yes he is friends with the Weasleys and Severus was a Death Eater but not anymore. Lily made Severus Harry's godfather so Albus has no power over where Harry goes seeing as Sev would be his guardian and have that right. Thanks again for the review! I really appreciate it, Potterphile!
Don't worry if your interpretation of Snape is a little . . . soft. He's not canon Snape, who never was allowed to love anyone and was made into a butter man by suffering endlessly for a single mistake. This Snape obviously changed because of love and forgiveness, two things which can really give hope to a person's spirit and teach them to feel joy and not anger or hate. You're doing a great job, please continue! Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review, I'm a huge fan of your stories so I'm really excited that you sent me a review! I'm glad that you can tell that I tried to portray Severus in a softer version. :) I love Severus just the way he is but I figured that he deserves some happiness, yh? Anways thank you so much! I really appreciate your review!
Author's Response: Well that's not althogether true because I have a 3-yr-old newphew myself. And also, don't forget that this is Severus Snape's son. He's got to be more intelligent than the rest :D. However, thank you for sharing your thoughts.
As for Snape, I like seeing his softer side; I have to agree with Socks4Dobby though that his interactions with Harry don't always seem in sync with what he know about his personality. To give an example, I'd imagine he might be a bit "rougher" in showing his affection for Harry; he might tease him or call him "brat" (affectionately, of course), or complain about how annoying Harry is when he secretly loves him to bits :). That being said, I very much enjoyed how you showed his relative inexperience in dealing with kids, like telling Harry tall tales about transformed chocolate frogs only to have to comfort him afterwards. I can definitely see that happening :). So nice to see you posting here; I hope you update soon! Author's Response: Thank you so much for your lovely review! Socks4Dobby did mention that Severus was a bit OOC but I had sort of planned it that way. I wanted Severus to be different from what he is portrayed. But like I said before, I agree with both of your views that Severus is the more rougher sort. As I said earlier, if Severus Snape was my father (weird as that sounds lol) I would want him to act in this sort of way. But I'll definitely put into considerations what you've told me! Thank you so much leaving and review and I'll update as soon as my exams are over!
