So Severus decided to take his anger out on Harry through detentions. Interesting. He sounds right in character.
Oh dear. Not a good start to the year for Harry. Poor kid.
I hope that eventually Snape sees the real Harry.
Great job with the chapter. Can't wait to see where you go with the story.
I really like this so far, bot your writing style and the way you set the scene. I particularly liked the part about Harry's names with the Dursleys versus his names in the wizarding world.

Where's Slytherin Harry? He's in Gryffindor, as far as I can see... but overall, good story. I can't wait for the next chapter!
Author's Response: From what I understand, the Slytherin Harry warning is supposed to be used so long as either a) Harry is in Slytherin or b) Harry simply behaves more Slytherin than he does in the books... Which he will, eventually. At least I think that's right, when I went to check after reading your review, it wouldn't let me so... Hope I'm correct.
