Ick. I knew Jenkins was bad news. Even Dobby knows it. I wonder how long it will take Snape to suss out what is going on?

Well? You're going to just leave it there? You have to finish! :P It's an interesting story, and I really don't like OCs at all.
i just can't wait to see when finaly someone will stop that pervert....poor harry!

This is a very well-written story. I do hope you haven't abandoned it!
If you get sick, it shows that you are a decent human being who cares. I commend you for being able to write this. I hope that someone will be able to help Harry even if the boy doesn't realize he needs help.
I've been waiting for this chapter for a long time, and I wasn't disappointed. Jenkins is so unbeliavably creepy. The worst kind of villain is one that pretends to be a friend, and Jenkins is just that. I almost can't help but picture Professor Lupin when you write him, because he's got that same (appearance of) niceness. But then it just gets super creepy, and you can see the devil underneath.
Poor poor little Harry. He's so clueless. I'm hoping things won't go as far as they might go, but given the warnings for the story I'm probably going to have to deal with severely damaged Harry. I trust Snape will be there to help him, though I imagine Harry's trust in adults will be completely shattered.
"When Professor Jenkins stepped fully into view, Harry was happy enought to kiss him..." I literally gagged. It's wonderful that you've been able to weave in subtle language that hints at what's to come. It's also super creepy.
I hope that you come out with more soon, it's really and interesting read.
Author's Response: When this story first popped into my dark and depraved mind, I was actually considering making it during Harry's third year and using Lupin as the bad guy because he was exactly the kind of personality I needed. I decided against that for two reasons really; one, I didn't want Harry to be quite that old (that year really makes a difference in most children), and two, I love Lupin. Almost as soon as I thought of him being the bad guy, my mind rebelled furiously. So instead, I created Jenkins, who I believe is basically a creepy version of Lupin. Glad he's coming off exactly how I wanted him to.
This is still amazing. You're handling the subject very well. As a character, is it weird to say I love Jenkins? The way he looks at Harry is wrong (obv) but it's almost as though he knows that but he doesn't know how to control himself. Great story, I'm still hooked.
I feel so sorry for Harry... Jenkins seems to realize how starved he is for affection, and how easily that can be exploited.
I love your writing and your sensitive handling of the subject. Looking forward to more!
