Oh my gosh, an update! Wow! Yay! It's been so long I'd completely forgotten about this story, so when I got the update email I naturally had to read the entire thing again to make sure I knew what was going on. I'm so glad I did, rather than ignoring the email like I usually do with stories I don't remember.
Congrats on a well written chapter! I can't wait to see what happens next. I really hope Harry and Theo become really good friends. I particularly like the characterization and grooming you're getting Jenkins to do. It's creepy and clever to see how he is slowly plotting everything and twisting Harry so that he won't tell. It's scary how well it's working. Well done!! I hate when stories just jump right into the interesting plot points they want to happen without making them plausible, but you've given yours some very very good build up.
I'm not sure if I'm just misremembering, but I think in chaperone one you had Dumbledore explain that Sinistra was away because she was at a conference or something, but then in chapter two Hermione says that she's ill. I'm not sure if you noticed this discrepancy or if you want to bother changing it, but just letting you know in case you do. Again I could have just read the first one wrong and it could be fine, so if so just ignore me.
Distracted half asleep ramble aside, very good chapter, and such a nice suprise for me to wake up to this morning. Thank you. Wishing you many readers, many reviews, and much love,

Author's Response: Thank you so much, glad to know my stupidly long absence hasn't made me lose all my readers. Also really glad you're enjoying the story so much, especially since (in my opinion) it gets much better soon; though like you said, I needed the time to build things up properly. And thank you for catching that mistake with Sinistra. I actually remember now, I'd originally made her ill when I first started writing the story forever ago, then went and changed it because I wanted a reason for Jenkins to be there for the entire year and... well, a sabbatical sounded better than being sick. Obviously I forgot to keep Hermione in the loop, so I'll have to remember to fix that.
