Reviews For Hut of No Return
Author's Response: Yay! I'm always thrilled to get reviews on an older story! So glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for letting me know! 😊
Author's Response: Too true! But something tells me that Harry will never be truly intimidated by his rescuer. After all, Harry knows that the Master must be the very best of the lot! Thanks for reviewing!
"Give it a wave," Snape suggested, then immediately grabbed Harry's moving arm to direct the wand's tip AWAY from Snape. "THAT way, Potter, if you please." HAHAHAHAHAHA I rolled with laughter there! Author's Response: Hey, it may be Lily's wand & Harry may share magic with it, BUT... Remembering Ollivander's-- I just couldn't resist! Harry's attention was completely focused on the Potions MASTER, so he'd naturally point the wand directly at Snape! Snape is full Slytherin when it comes to ALL types of survival skills! Hee! :-)
Yay! Hagrid is better! You did a good job on his accent by the way. Author's Response: Hee! Hagrid's accent is tough to write! I always have to go back several times to delete parts of words and put in appropriate apostrophes! And I still found one "to" that I neglected to change to "t'"-- hee! Well, I had to have Snape give him SOME sort of explanation-- and Harry's intelligent enough to understand in part why their relationship can't be common knowledge. I really wasn't sure how much info to give Harry at this point; I figured less is more-- he'll learn more context with every year, and if he has questions, he can always ask Snape himself. (Whether the man decides to answer, well, that's anyone's guess! I'm not planning a sequel!) Thanks for reading and reviewing! |
