Reviews For Hut of No Return
I liked the ending, sentimental and simple, just as Snape's statement was. Author's Response: 😃

Author's Response: Thanks! "Hut" is still one of my favorites, of all the stories I've written, and what a lovely surprise to find a review on an "older" story! So glad you enjoyed it, and many thanks for taking the time to tell me so! :-)
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I loved writing it! I write mainly to entertain myself, and I put my stories out there hoping that other people will enjoy them, too. So glad you did! And thanks for letting me know with your review!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the compliment! This was the longest story I've finished to date, and it still amazes me that I got it done! It's always a challenge to translate my mental images into written words, and I love hearing that my readers liked the result! Thanks so much for the review!
Author's Response: Oh my! Our fave Potions Master arrived with barely a moment to spare! I loved setting that final scene, with the figure in the doorway... Thanks for reviewing!
Author's Response: Thanks! And it gets even more interesting from this point on! Your review is truly appreciated!
Author's Response: Yep! I've had several crappy birthdays, but I wanted Harry's to be great! I could do with some chocolate cake right now... Thanks for the review! ;-)
Author's Response: Oh dear! Originally, I wrote "Hut" entirely by hand on real paper! (Don't have a computer-- had to later type it up on library computer!) I'm so pleased to hear that you love the story enough to reread it repeatedly, but I honestly had no plans to carry it beyond Harry's first day at Hogwarts. I won't say "never" to a sequel, but I'm not planning one right now. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you don't wear out your mouse!
Author's Response: Thank you very much for the compliment! I'm always thrilled to hear from a happy reader! Truthfully, tho', I always intended for the story to end as it did, since I was primarily interested in using the Hut on the Rock as a main setting, which I'd never seen done in fanfiction. (There are so many stories out there, it's hard to come up with a unique approach to Harry Potter!) I won't say "never" to a sequel, but it's nowhere in the immediate future-- sorry! But many thanks for reading and reviewing! Much appreciated! :-) |
