Oh, this is sweet, but not gooey! From the summary, I didn't expect to enjoy it so much. I love innocent/experienced 'gypsy' Harry. :-)
YOU'RE BACK! Awesome. I was hoping you would be. Great chapter, I was wondering how Harry would react to everything since he was in a different family and the gypsy heritage is wicked cool. So did I catch it right that Sev has a bit of gypsy in him? Looking forward to another chapter and seeing how Sev manages to keep Dumbledore's eyes from twinkling.
PS- Are we going to be seeing more of Order of Peagesus in the future? Please say yes!
Author's Response: Order of the Pegasus is on Hiatius at the moment; I wrote a long, really complex chapter a few months back and then my computer crashed- taking with it my timeline, draft chapters, etc. I'm working on recovering the information but it's taking time.
Glad you liked the chapter:) Yes, I thought it'd be interesting to have Tobias Snape as a Romany; the dark colouring could suggest it and it would be a reason why he was always so unhappy: instead of Eileen being dragged away from her lifestyle, family and culture, it would have been him who suffered the greatest loss. (Besides, his ability with a pack of cards would certainly provide a story behind him meeting Eileen- you can imagine it, a young withc going to a fair, meeting a fortune teller, being attracted by his looks and astounded that he could actually make a few accurate predictions, etc, etc. It could also suggest a reason behind the rows; the magical world definately has a contempt for divination (outside prophesy) and would probably sneer at hedge magic)

Love this Harry is very refreshing and angst free. Elijah is great fun and please cn we keep morse such a great name! thank you.
Author's Response: Yes, Morse is definately staying: his name came to me in a flash when I sat down to read this chapter; dalmatians are traditionally gypsy dogs (or carriage dogs) and, with their appeal, I thought one would make an obvious pet for Harry (besides providing hijinks later- dalmatians are very active, very stubborn and very naughty) I'm glad you like Elijah: I've tried to make him a little bit like Severus (in that he's no nonsense and very sharp) but rather friendly and easygoing at the same time; I thought it would be a good way to foster a positive relationship between Harry and Severus- Severus knows Harry's not been spoilt, he's just lively :)
Unusual idea. I look forward to seeing where you go with it.
Author's Response: Thank you, I hope you continue to enjoy it :)
Love it! Poor Severus can't help liking Harry, no matter how hard he resists.
Author's Response: ^^ Yeah, Severus is in a rather sticky situation; he can see that Harry's not spoilt, that he's clever and, moreover, after almost-believing him dead for so many years, cannot help but feel a bit more warmly towards him anyway lol! Thanks for the review:)
Very intriguing. I'm looking forward to more of this :)
I am quite intrigued by this story. It's quite different and am looking forward to seeing where you go with it.
Awesome start - I'm definitely interested in seeing more... misundersnape...
Ooof, hate when stuff like that happens. But I should have known this one was yours earlier. Should have suspected, from the summary, that it was your flavor of story ;). Kudos on the first chapter, and I hope your computer comes back as strong as ever.
