Wow, I hope someone goes to help the starving street urchins who'd fed Padfoot and lost their hard earned loot.
Lovely to see an update, I hope you are feeling better, praying the storm does minimal damage and is over quickly!

I'm glad they found Sirius. He was a lucky puppy. Even though he had some adventures, he wasn't hurt and managed to keep the wallet. Having Harry explain to Remus about sirius acting on his adult memories the was Sev does was a nice touch.
Good luck during Sandy. We are directly in the storm's path here in central PA. The wind is really starting to pick up now. We are hunkered down and hoping for the best. Hope you come out OK, too.
This was a lovely chapter! I really enjoyed reading this, especially the whole Padfoot with the two kids. They didn't seem like bad kids though, only hungry ones that had to do whatever it took to get some food. Will we see more of them?
