Wow, that was an intense and powerful chapter! Loved your use of Batman, and that Harry was able to open up to Snape about the Dursleys... He truly is Harry's Batman!
An intense bonding chapter, hopefully, Snape will be able to do something about the situation.. I am sure he will, because he is Harry's Batman.
Batman as the connection device in the discussion.... just brilliant, very psychological, I really like your writing style.... :)
So, Petunia has a thing for vampires... LoL!

I read your story over at ff.net a while ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. Rereading it with updates has been even better. I hope your continue. Your writing is engaging and I love your depictions of Severus and Harry.
I so hope you come back to this wonderful story.

Oh my god.
This is so lovely.
Harry is like a more neurotypical version of my uncle, and I see him in my uncle so, so much.
Like, when one thing gets asked and Harry says another, and he only knows the connection but not us, and you can see in his face (or the narration) that he wants so, so badly to answer the question... Cielo santÃsimo.
Of course, my uncle is over 50 now, and has had a very productive worklife with friends and he had wonderful classmaes throughout school, so he gets "normal" stuff, and isn't literal-minded at all (at least, concerning his understanding of stuff).
Heh. I just came up with a fun anecdote for you to use in the future, perhaps with Hermione or Luna?:
So I recently moved back in with my grandparents and my uncle. At the beginning, since I'm his favourite niece, he would barge into my now room to check how was I. I, being a 20-year-old lady, obviously freaked out of my mind when I happened to be dressing, and screeched at him to CLOSE THE BLASTED DOOR, UNCLE!!!!! Then I gave him a very clipped explanation while he tried to divert my attention with his attempts to tease me, because he knew I was clearly Very Angry (no, I don't give him stern-talking-tos. He's my uncle. An authority figure. Even though I scold him. I don't know how that works but it just does, OK?).
Ha, ha. I wonder when Harry will get around to understanding the normal people, lol, and think about how very sillies some of their hang-ups are (my Uncle has implied me this on occasion, not that he can properly explain just yet).
Quick note on culture: my native language is Spanish, and "not-normal" isn't really an insult, it is looked more as an statement, but it can be, generally speaking. In my country saying a person is "subnormal" as opposed to "not-normal", on the other hand... It implies all of those ugly things Harry was called. Retard, freak, idiot, etc.

I love this patient-as-a-saint Snape. I can't wait for more, especially harry's truism's. As they get older, i can imagine hermione and harry having very frustrating yet amusing conversations. I wonder how Luna might react to Harry and vice-versa? I imagine she would be nothing but kind.
This is one of those heart warming stories that can make you shed tears! Great job, awesomelyglorious! Will be patiently waiting for update! :)
This is a wonderful story, your portrayal of Harry is excellent. Glad to see the mistreatment coming out.
