Reviews For Different, Not Defective
Author's Response: Thank you. I am working on updates, but work is getting in the way.
I loved this chapter you got to see just how much Poppy cares for harry and minerva love her snape has fallen for harry and he is a great ally
Aww! Harry running around and half-tripping in wizarding robes for the first time is an adorable image! I love his blunt-ness with McGonagall, and also her gentle understanding. In cannon, and often in fandom, we see a McGonagall who is far less attentive than she out to be. So I like that good ol' Minnie is really stepping up to the plate in this fic. Unrelated: Sorry to nit-pick, but it should be "Muggle-born," not Muggle, for Hermione in the third paragraph. (I know you know that, and it's just a typo, but I figured I should point it out.) Nice work. I'm excited to read the rest!
I'm amazed and impressed that Harry is coping as well as he is. Hogwarts would be incredibly overwhelming to any new, Muggle-raised student, but he has so many extra challenges. And he's handling it so well! I do want him to go live with Severus though. I wonder how the dorms will be for him?
I love the calm and gentle tone he takes with Harry, and the way he talks him through each step. That's exactly what Harry needed! This is really interesting so far! I've never read an Austistic Harry before. I hope this isn't a rude question, but is someone close to you on the spectrum? I have a good friend who is an Aspie, and he is one of the most beautiful people on the planet, in my opinion. Anyhow, I really appreciate the perspective you're taking so far with this story!
I loved the chapter if I didnt say that already. |
