Awww! What a wonderful, sweet memory for Severus and Harry to create together! (Now, if I could just sneak one of those sausage-and-onion sandwiches...) :-D

Sweet. I like an occasional fluffy/nice Snape tale with the promise of a good childhood for Harry, and it was especially nice to get a Bonfire Night story.

Is that really how people celebrate Bonefire/Guy Fawkes Day? (Is it one thing or two separate things?) If so, even if it is up to individual families, it sounds wonderful. I liked that Severus was subtly telling his six year old about his biological parents (well, his mom at any rate) through food and sharing of a popular holiday in Muggle England.

    Good story!

Author's Response: Firework night/Bonfire night/Guy Fawkes night are all the same thing. There's no real set thing to do on the night (celebrate isn't really the right word, but it was the best I could come up with). It's up to each family really what they do. But my family always has sausage or hotdog sandwiches, and then we walk down to the local firework display, which is supposed to mimic what it would have looked like if Guy Fawkes had managed to blow up the Houses of Parliament with gunpowder on 5th Novermber 1605.

Love it! Snape seems very mature here, and I love how you described his interactions with young Harry.
I'd love to read more in this universe!
