So - Severus lives to fight another day, and the penny has dropped about Laura. Good! It was nice that it was Sirius who was so kind to the fox, which was an excellent choice for Severus' animagus form. I didn't know black foxes existed - had to Google them for information.

Author's Response: Glad you're happy about the Laura thing. I figured that given Severus' past he would have a hard time accepting the fact that he had fallen for someone new, what with previous experiences and the rather secluded life he has led. I'm super pumped that you liked Severus' animagus form, and that I got to introduce you to the black fox! Pretty cool, eh? I didn't know they existed either up until I started doing research for this project. I thought a black fox fit Severus well, considering how much black foxes were hunted back in the day, and how they are considered unlucky. Anyway, thanks for the review rosina!

A fox! I love it! And a black fox, too... yes, I agree, it's a good Animagus form for Severus :). Foxes are great!

I love how you described the episode in Malfoy Manor; not too graphic, but still intense enough so that Severus' pain and fear felt very real.

At first I thought it was Arthur Weasley who had found him, but Sirius would be a lot more fun, of course... wait till he learns that he petted the 'greasy git' and called him 'little guy' ;)!

As for Severus transforming back, I have a feeling that it might not be that easy - or that his Animagus form might help in some way to cure his illness (that was basically my theory ;) ).

Looking forward to the next chapter!

Author's Response: Good to hear that you appreciate Severus' animagus form. I had it in my mind for at least a year plus that he would be great as a black fox, and had yet to work it into a story. I'm liking the speculations, as I do love hearing theories. Thanks for reviewing Sita!

yea!!! but Sev should change back soon so the boys and everyone else won't be so worried

Author's Response: Yes, definitely. He doesn't exactly have the energy just now. It requires a lot of magical strength. Thanks for reviewing.

Oh this was great! A black fox...lol no pun intended when you made him a fox right? ;)

I just had the thought that maybe the Cruico curse could fix the disease that Severus has...that's my hope and I am sticking to it! :P

    Hugs and Love,
    Vanime

Author's Response: Thanks for the review Vanime.
