It's always a challenge to come up with something that I haven't seen in HP fanfics (well, someone may have already done it, but I've read only a tiny fraction of what's out there!), and the snow globe angle looked like it had good prospects. As a kid, I'd wished myself into various beautiful snow globes, but I only thought of positive effects. Somehow, that seemed a bit too cliche to write, so I decided to look at a more negative outcome-- at least temporarily! Whoa! Now I could get excited! Thanks again for reading and reviewing! :-)

But it wasn't until I suddenly got the idea that something could go WRONG that I came up with the premise for this story! This is the second time I have read your story and I loved it as much as I did reading it the first time. It's so imaginative and the concept is very original. I thought the way you wrote Harry was nicely done as you captured what a young boy would be thinking in that situation very well. Nice job shadow! :)
Author's Response: You know, you've really hit upon one of the most important aspects that J.K. Rowling includes in her books: the way Harry thinks. I kept marveling at how well she could get into Harry's mind, and I keep trying to work with that idea. My biggest handicap is NOT being male, so I take my best shot and hope it hits SOMEWHERE on the target! But seeing/feeling the characters' inner workings can draw the readers in. (I know what works for me AS a reader!) Thank you so much for reading and reviewing!
