Good for Harry and Severus I can't stand Dumbledore for leaving harry with the Dursleys.
Although I'm enjoying this story I'd like to offer a constructive critcism. You use "was" a lot when simply using the past tense of the verb would be better. Ex:"as Ron was spending a lot of time with Dean and Seamus" could be changed to "Ron spent a lot of time..." Never underestimate the value of a meaty verb. *grin*
Great chapter! Looking forward to the next one:)

Thank you for another great chapter. I love their planning seion Severus is mellowing and Harry is happier what could be better?
What a difference from the strained relationship at the beginning when the two found out that they were father and son.
Imagine that Harry is going from only having a cupboard-under-the-stairs, and Dudley's 2nd bedroom to have "2" bedrooms. I'm glad that Snape is really making an effort to be a real father to Harry.

It makes sense to me too that they would have a reading room in Snape's quarters. :) I really am enjoying how this story is coming along, and I wonder when and how Harry will start calling the Professor, "Dad". :D
Personally, I think the Lockhart books should be burned as the man was a fraud, as much as it pains me to say it, as I hate the notion of a book burning.
Maybe the next time they get together, as there is so much redecorating to be done at the Professors' (and now Harry's) home, the two of them could start making plans as to what they would like to do with the house. Surely the Professor could explain to Harry the layout of the roons and the general aspect of what they look like to get started?
