Reviews For Denial
It would be nice if Harry and Snape could play a game of chess together and bond as father and son...well, at least bond a little. Glad to see another chapter. I love seeing your story on the "Most Recent".
Or you said, "He got given," instead of, "He was given." Sometimes it helps to read it out loud to see if it sounds right, because our ears will pick things up that our eyes don't while reading through something. Just a thought. Keep up the good work! P.S. I can beta for a few chapters if you want. Just drop me an e-mail.
Author's Response: That was one of the things I was most worried about with trying to post a chapter a day, that it would seem really repetitive. (Other than the fact I've got to write a chapter a day!) But both Harry and Severus are stubborn, so their relationship isn't going to change over night, so I thought it was the more realistic way of doing things. I'm glad you're enjoying it so far, and thanks for reviewing.
Great job. I love that if one looks close enough, you can tell Severus is trying. Author's Response: Yep, most teenagers are argumentative. And it seems quite fitting with Harry's character that he would be. Not a good thing really, since Severus isn't known for his patience...
Love the chapter. It's amazing that Harry focuses so much on how Severus makes him miserable versus how he is probably making Severus miserable. Sev knows that Harry doesn't like him, probably realizes its his own fault and is probably as hurt each time Harry dashes through that door as when Lily abandoned him and then didn't tell him he had a child. Great job! More? Author's Response: No, he's not really helping, but of course Harry doesn't see it like that. He just wants out! I keep trying to include little hints about how much it is actually hurting Severus, I'm glad that someone's picking up on them. Thanks for reviewing. |
