Oh, the ending was just PERFECT! :)
This was a very intriguing and unique plotline and I really enjoyed how you kept Snape in his snarly, snarky character, while showing his better side in a realistic fashion.
The Deatheaters were appropriately nasty--I can see Lucius Malfoy doing something like this.
I like to think that eventually, Harry will feel safe enough to sleep in human form, but the mental image I had of the final scene is probably one of the most beautiful ones I've had in a long while of reading well-written fanfiction.
This one goes on my recc list, and I'll be back to re-read it frequently.
Well done!
Author's Response: Wow, thanks so much for the review! I'm so glad you enjoyed the story, and thought that Malfoy's choice of 'entertainment' was believable for his character. (Generally I like Lucius and am tempted to write him as not-so-bad-after-all, but in this story I needed him to be thoroughly sadistically evil, and I'm glad it worked).
Thanks so much for your compliment on the final scene, and thank you for taking the time to let me know!
