Missed this story when it was first posted (saw it now as Story of the Moment). Loved all of the details, but especially the train set & "Dud", and also the cheeky train card! Very nice that Snape is willing to mentor Harry after all they've been through. Glad I finally got to read this! :-D
I'm glad you did a re-aging followup story. It's a good way for Harry to start his occlumancy lessons while staying friendly with Snape.

Very nice! I like the birthday card :). One of my favorite parts was Snape's hidden train set (I can see him being a closet model train nerd), and the names Harry gave to the trains.
