I love this. You’re a great writer.
Aww, this is a bit heartbreaking. I feel bad for all of them. Snape does try, he just has no clue how to break free of the cocoon preventing him from bonding with Harry. Time for that discussion... but I'm not sure a first attempt will go well at all. Great job - I love it!
Ooh that little flashback was heartbreaking :,o( I know you said everything won't end up a a big fluffy bunny, but I do hope things between Harry and Severus will improve:)

I really do enjoy this story! Can't wait to see what you come up with next!
I liked the idea behind this story, but I am uncomfortable with how little Lily seems to care about her own child. How can she stay married to a person who clearly does not love her child? Or can even get along with him? Are you going to address this in the future?
Author's Response: Yes. I do plan to address this issue as I get more into Lily and Snape's background and have the opportunity to do more Harry and Lily interaction. I assure you that Lily loves Harry very much and I'm slightly disturbed that I gave the impression she didn't. You have to remember that Lily and Snape have been fighting more lately because things are WORSE than normal. Their lives have not been without periods of peace and, as you'll find out, Snape and Lily have been through a lot together. Thanks for the input. I hope I can more clearly represent the dynamic between them in future chapters.
This story kinda makes me sad lol. It is so angst-y. You're doing a fabulous job though:)
Author's Response: Lol. On FFnet, I actually have a warning that it's not fluffy. Like, at all. I mean, I LOVE fluffy, feel-good Snape and Harry fics but I really wanted to write something that (I feel, anyway) is more realistic. I think I've decided, though, that they will get some kind of resolution. I have an idea, as a matter of fact of what my catalyst will be. A most evil idea. :D :P Thanks for your reviews.
