Poor harry like his thought I am just pushed a side until they need me. Why should he feels like anyone cares. Molly attacking him Ron being a jerk left with his most hated teacher scorned by the rest and the discarding world. I would of said to Ron it was also my fault your sister wrote in a diary and was in the chamber where i had to fight a sixty foot snake to save her life. Shame on me. Yep it all my fault.

Poor Harry can't win for loosing. What about blacks inheritance might at least help a little. I would demand he go to st mungo to have block removed. So he at least has the details.

At least Harry doesn't seem to be having problems with his new employer. Some of the tension at school will probably ease up but when the students return, it will be a nightmare for Harry and Ginny.

I was glad that Ginny stepped up to the plate and demanded that she be allowed to work as well as Harry. Maybe this could work after all.

I'm kind of surprised they are putting Harry to work in a shop. With all the media attention, it will expose him to the reporters when they get wind of his job.

I'm surprised the memory loss wasn't examined further by the staff. Harry is adamant that he doesn't remember it and wouldn't have even had the time at that point so it seems like something they should investigate further. I'm also surprised that they expect Harry to work and take care of his classes and, when it comes, help with the baby. He won't have time to deal with Voldemort at that rate. Heck, having Voldemort kill him might seem preferable.

    Author's Response:

Exactly! At some point the Professors will be able to see that they're putting the weight of the world on Harry's shoulders and no student would ever be able to do all of the things they're forcing him to do. There'll be a breaking point, depending on where the story takes me is where that will be. Thanks for the review!

And to add to my previous review, I would like to see the professors realizing that Harry is responsible and trustworthy and relax his schedule a little, and also to allow him and Ginny free time to be alone out on the grounds or in Hogsmeade without an escort. It would be good if they could walk to and from work together without Snape. She's already pregnant... it's not like letting them be alone for a little while is going to invite her to get pregnant again...

So happy to see an update to this! I've been waiting for years! Yay! I would love to see Harry working with a mind healer and maybe getting sick from that and not complaining, and the mind healer telling Snape about all the things the Dursley's have done. And would like to see the portrait of Slytherin telling the Professors about Harry and how studious he is, and how down he seems to be. I hope Ginny will be spending the summer there with him and I look forward to that interaction. I would also like to see Harry's boss telling Snape how hard of a worker Harry is. When Ginny gets there to do work it would be cool to see them maybe walking around Hogsmeade together and getting lunch or an ice cream or something. My only constructive piece of advice is this: pregnant women work all the time... they don't really take it 'easy' at work unless there is a complication with the pregnancy and at that point bed rest is ordered for the rest of the pregnancy. I worked hard while I was prengant and I've known so many women to work hard at their normal duties while pregnant until about a month before the baby is due... being pregnant isn't that bad... the nausea and increased sense of smell is bad in the first few months, but not bad enough to 'hardly be able to get out of bed most days'. For the most part it's normal day to day as usual aside from not jumping, not doing super heavy lifting, and avoiding certain foods and having regular doctor's checkups about 1x a month until the baby is closer to being due, then it's about 2x a month checkups. Great job as always!

Author's Response: The issue is, and I touched on this in chapter 2 or 3 I believe, many people in the wizarding world have a sort of Victorian way of seeing things. While today we have plenty of rights to still work full time in the workplace, as it would be expected, even as early as the 1950s this was frowned upon. 1990s Wizarding World thinking would be very much the same. You'll see though that Ginny will fight the teachers holding her back tooth and nail, as I believe she would in the HP books. She'll step up and show that Harry shouldn't be punished for something they both did, and while it isn't the ideal situation, she wants to help him.
