I thoroughly enjoyed that chapter. Harry is behaving very responsibly considering he doesn't yet truly believe the baby is his, and I liked how Snape seemed to be softening slightly towards him as he's going to need all the support he can get. It was clever to bring a bit of parseltongue into the story, and the little bits of humour lifted things too. The visitors have to be Weasleys don't they?

Again, great chapter! I love this story, and I find your Harry very convincing in the way he deals with the situation. That potions shop and the shopkeeper sound creepy!
I just wanted to add, partly in response to an earlier review: I do find it very realistic that no one would listen to Harry's point of view, *especially* in the wizarding world. In Victorian society, any baby born out of wedlock was automatically a bastard and a second-class citizen, regardless of the circumstances. I find the wizarding society to be very 19th-century in many aspects, so why would they listen to Harry's side of things? Considering how harsh and old-fashioned the wizarding world can be (for instance their justice system), I think Harry and Ginny are lucky to be able to stay at school, even if their new schedule is rather demanding. Mrs. Weasley's reaction shows that she considers the pregnancy a "stain" on the family honor, and the teachers' reactions (except Snape's) show a similar attitude. So, long story short, I find the unforgiving attitude of the adults here to be very realistic, even if it shows a less pleasant side of the wizarding world.
    Hope you continue soon!

Why, oh why do you do that? Who are the four extra visitors? Poor Harry.

Interesting premise! I'm intrigued to see where this story leads. I wonder what could be causing the memory block? And where in the world did this mystery baby come from? I'll definitely keep reading!

Whoa...a cliffe. It took a while for the update, but it was worth the wait. I hate to tell Harry, I am inclined to think that the baby is his, especially after the comment from the snake. But I am really curious about the circumstances and can't wait for more. Wonderful job and please update soon.
