Lovely to see an update! It feels like ages since I read this :)
I think this may be my very favorite of your stories--and that is saying something. In addition to the originality of the plot-line and your use of original characters, your control of pacing is really great. You never rush things, but clearly work through Harry's conflicts in a way so that the reader can feel his pain so clearly. I am not one who often cries while reading a work of fiction, but I found myself tearing up several times as I re-read this yesterday. To speak to this most recent chapter specifically--great job, as always. I really hope Severus can help Harry reach a level of security--in his place in their little family and in himself--that he can relax enough to work through the gritty details of what he's been through. Can't wait for more!
Love this story. Poor Harry.
yay!thanks for updating! amazing of course! please hurry and update again!
really enjoying this, especially since Snape is not changing right away and Harry is taking more than a chapter or two to heal.
Oh, you updated! YOu made my Saturday :) Thank you. I liked this chapter. I only wondered about these sentences that sounded a bit misplaced maybe? "He's not and Harry is super upset and his fears about being thrown out again will come to light finally for Severus and Jo. They realize that Harry needs so much from them, because he's never had it from anyone else). At this point they still don't know most of what Harry's gone through, only that he's afraid to be thrown out again."
Author's Response: Somehow a piece of my notes slipped in when I copied it. I'll have to go back and look to see if anything else is out of place. Thanks for pointing it out. It's been deleted.
I felt so bad for Harry when the potion revealed that he wasn't Severus' son, but, when he finally realizes that Severus meant what he said, it will mean so much more for him. He'll know that he's wanted, and not just because he's related by blood. Nice work.
Woo hoo! I was so happy to see that you're writing again and nice job on the chappie too! Welcome back JA. Talent like yours, shouldn't go to waste! :)
Can't wait to find out what happens next.
